CCLEX Malta Law Firm and Għaqda Studenti tal-Liġi (GħSL)

Malta Member firm Chetcuti Cauchi has announced a partnership with GħSL, the Malta Law Students Society, on the 18th of April 2019. GħSL is Malta’s Law Students Society, and is a faculty-based and non-profit law student organisation at the University of Malta. Chetcuti Cauchi Advocates, through this partnership, have guaranteed to collaborate with the society to create new prospects for law students at the University of Malta.

During the event commemorating the legal partnership, Dr Priscilla Misfud Parker, Senior Partner for Corporate, Trusts and Fintech at Chetcuti Cauchi Advocates delivered a speech. The speech delivered by Dr Mifsud Parker focused on Chetcuti Cauchi Advocate’s commitment towards the students, “Chetcuti Cauchi Advocates has since the beginning, strived to offer a helping hand to law students, who will eventually lead the legal profession of tomorrow. Through this partnership, Chetcuti Cauchi Advocates will continue to foster this relationship and reach out to law students.” Dr Mifsud Parker also held that this is just “the commencement of a prosperous partnership with GħSL – a society which has always been there for the law student.”

Ms Lara Attard, the GħSL President, also gave a speech during the event and gratefully thanked Chetcuti Cauchi Advocates for its collaboration. Ms Attard also remarked that Chetcuti Cauchi Advocates have continuously been supporting the organisation: “The relationship between GħSL and Chetcuti Cauchi Advocates started about two years ago when the firm offered to fund the involvement of Maltese law students in an international moot court competition. This legal partnership is ultimately the result of the firm’s continuous generosity towards GħSL.”
