BBQ2018

Fostering a positive work environment is a priority at CCLEX, and making sure staff members feel valued and appreciated is essential in ensuring this. Indeed, this was the aim behind the BBQ which CCLEX organised for its staff members on Friday 20th July 2018 at the Penthouse, Gianpula.

CCLEX’s annual BBQ is the embodiment of the firm’s longstanding commitment to the wellbeing of its staff members. The company’s ethos lies in encouraging professionalism and dedication in service by applauding and celebrating employees. This is precisely the reason behind the Employee Awards where the tireless work of our hardworking and dedicated colleagues was recognised and congratulated through the Extra Mile, Excellence in Service, and Employee of the Year awards.

During the event, employees from different departments could socialise, mingle, and unwind for a night of guaranteed enjoyment. The aim behind this annual BBQ was to strengthen relationships between employees, giving them the opportunity to interact outside of the office environment.

Pertinent to this commitment of creating friendships outside the office were the Oscars Awards which were given in relation to the firm’s teambuilding event held in May 2018, a cross-company event involving the creation of short films highlighting Malta’s beauty. In this regard, awards were given for the best actor, best actress and the best production. Notably, World Cup fever and some friendly competition were not amiss at CCLEX, with awards also being given to the three employees with the most exact score predictions.

Guitarist Chris Tanti first entertained the guests with an acoustic set, creating a relaxed atmosphere where staff members could eat, drink and enjoy the spectacular countryside views. As the night progressed, guests were later invited to the dance floor during DJ Ziggy’s set.

An integral part of the event was the fundraising raffle where money was donated to the Claris Foundation, Chetcuti Cauchi Advocates’ charitable arm. Ever since its inception, Claris Foundation has taken an active role in supporting the Maltese community through its generous contributions.
