Malta enacts regulations for a fund that finances part of the expenses to be undertaken in a company recovery procedure – a procedure provided at law to aid companies facing financial difficulties.

The TAKEOFF Seed Fund Awards has been allocated a substantial sum of €100,000 thanks to a joint initiative between the Ministry for the Economy and the University of Malta.
The Prime Minister of Saint Lucia announced several significant amendments to the citizenship by investment programme in light of the Covid-19 pandemic, including a reduction by half of the investment required to qualify for citizenship through bond acquisitions.
The Citizenship by Investment Unit of Antigua & Barbuda on the 11th May 2020 has launched a new route to obtain citizenship by Investment. The new route is the University of the West Indies Fund and it makes it possible for a family of 6 to obtain citizenship with a donation of USD 150,000.

Malta offers an advantageous procedure by which the importation of yachts to be used in furtherance of a commercial enterprise is not subject to the payment of VAT on such yacht. The procedure was amended in 2020.
